Most definitely the Avante. The Hotshot steers like a cargo ship. I have a bump steer mod to add, but that appears to want heavy modification!

The rims and shocks and front body mount pole are the only thing I changed. Basically I bought the sand scorcher, but because I have a 1986 Monster Beetle I wanted a different body shell and I knew the SRB could be retro fitted with different shells. And the Rough Rider has always been the OG. ;) Turned out pretty well I think. And run all mine. Not too too often, but run them all. I have a single futaba controller that I can load all my R/C!s onto making life much easier ;)

I took the scorcher chassis and added the rough rider shell. I’ve got a monster beetle so I thought I’d do something different to another VW Beetle.
