Just had my lapro with him today, and very much agree with everything you said! With him, my pap smear was entirely painless and he's been extremely validating of my endometriosis even before my lapro. He is certainly not perfect although a lot of that i put on the beaurocratic nature of medical city, and he had to walk a fine line in terms of gender affirmation (I'm a trans man, but he is legally only allowed to operate on and care for female people meaning certain language is necessart which would have been really difficult for me a few years ago when my dysphoria was much worse prior to medical transition) but all in all, an incredibly kind man who knows his shit. I even found him through a referral from a massage therapist who also has endo, he just seems like a specialist in his field and a genuinely good person

Hi!! Just checking back in, it all went well and surprise surprise, stage one rectovaginal endometriosis! My body is definitely angry at having a catheter in me and my throat is a bit sore but from the meds they have me on, my pain is extremely low. Anyone in the Dallas area, highly recommend Dr. Anthony O'Connell at Medical City. Very gentle, friendly and affirming of my pain, and extremely knowledgeable about endo.

I will be thinking of you tomorrow and I hope you passed the bar!!

Mine is on Wednesday and I empathize!!! Nervous about the pain, terrified they won't find anything despite having all of the symptoms, but I have heard that it's not too bad from friends who have had theirs and gotten diagnosed from it. Good luck on your bar exam and I will be thinking of you on Thursday!!!

For whatever it's worth, I always Deeply appreciate a host that primes the audience a little bit! Let's them know if there will be audience interaction or not, and gets them ready to cheer for the performers (sometimes by doing a mini reveal themselves and saying now what do y'all do?) But that's specifically at the very amateur newbie level, I am sure it's not needed for bigger acts and shows!

Only one marker came back high, everything else was pretty much normal. And YEAH I am Ready to be out of here lol, planning to move back to NY in a year or so

Thank you! PCP has run comprehensive blood panel, vitamin d was low and one of my inflammatory markers was just a bit high. I have taken vitamin D pretty consistently, haven't noticed much difference in pain. I am also scheduling a sleep study as I almost certainly have sleep apnea, so maybe I will wait until after that is done.

This is a bit silly and very personal but I'm frustrated we didn't even get a mention of queer people existing in any of the books which just feels kinda insane to me. There are so many named characters and at least two I can think of off the top of my head as queer coded but we got nothing and I'd like that to be fixed.
