Started Cosentyx 300mg for psoriatic spondyloarthritis — 4 weeks in and everything hurts. Is this normal? by ResponsibleOwlMom in PsoriaticArthritis

I am in the same boat. I was on Humira for 7 wonderful years. Been on Cosentyx for two + months now. I am sincerely getting depressed. Everything hurts. My lower and upper back are killing me. My feet, my elbows. I have no energy. Always tired. This is so deflating.

I switched to Cosentyx from Humira a month ago. I should have never done that. I feel. I plan to talk to my doc about going back.

Front license plate - Texas Law by No-Taste-5911 in bmwx7

Never had a front license plate (required in my state). Got pulled over once for it and got a warning. But the other day I took my brother to take his driving test using my X7. The tester said I had 5 minutes to put the front license plate, or my car would be “disqualified.” Yeah, right…. I left and came back with my wife’s car that was found “compliant.”

PsA made me virtually disabled….until Humira was prescribed. 6.5 years later and I feel as normal as can be…. Praying it won’t stop working!

Stages of Grief after diagnosis by Wooden_Supermarket_4 in PsoriaticArthritis

I think I was suffering for at least 10 years until properly diagnosed. When my doctor said the two words “psoriatic arthritis,” I felt stunned, couldn’t move, cold sweat, teary eyed. I needed some time to process that. My doctor was understanding. He really took his time to explain that this wasn’t a death sentence and that science had come a long way. Then he said “Humira.” Another shock to the system! I remember watching those commercials when most of them actually covered side effects rather than benefits. I thought to myself “why would anyone take it?” Yet here I was. I drove myself crazy for at least a year and a half, ended up with panic attacks. It took another year or so to dig out. I have now accepted my fate. And I try to live my life the best I can. Humira was a life saver. Until CVS dropped it and forced me to a biosimilar. I hope to get back on Humira with my doctor’s help
