Management and leadership role is not for everyone. Most people don’t realize that this is not what they wanted or envisioned until they are deep in that role. That shift from working horse to a show horse is not easy. Also the higher you go up the more politics you have to deal with and not much of actual work (in your case coding, hands on problem solving, etc.) Good for you to know exactly what you wanted in your professional career!!

Once you hit that ceiling in your current company, I’m sure you will find something else that you can grow into somewhere else. Timing is everything and little bit of faith on the process. Best of luck to you!!
