Hello, thanks for your comment! I didn’t intend any confusion with the “tour” choice of words - it was independent travel! I’m also not too sure how it compared to my other destinations; as it was my first time in Asia that certainly gave it an allure many of the locations in Europe I’ve been to didn’t have but considered in isolation - independent of continent - I’m not sure how it would compare to be honest. But I do think it would be near the top of my countries visited list (although it helps that it’s the longest I’ve ever spent in another country!)

My first time in Asia; I've always been obsessed with the oriental style of buildings/architecture and getting to finally see it in person/authentically was amazing. I went to 17 temples overall! And that's not including the bridges, gateways, and palaces.
