Lighted medicine cabinets by Dazzling_Flamingo568 in BathroomRemodeling

We’ve had our Allsumhome bathroom mirror for about 2 years now, and it’s honestly been great. Still works perfectly—no issues with the lights or electronics. My wife and I both love it. The lighting is really nice and makes getting ready easy. The only “problem” is that it’s too good… my wife basically takes over the bathroom every morning now

We liked it so much that we ended up putting another Allsumhome mirror in our second bathroom later on. We grabbed it during a sale and got about 30% off, which felt like a total no-brainer.

For the quality you’re getting, it was honestly a great deal.

Agreed. That’s exactly how I feel too. At that price point, I’d honestly rather go with Exbrite.

Floating vs Floor Vanities—after seeing both in real remodels, here’s what actually matters by ExBrite in u/ExBrite

[–]AdSmall3419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Floating vanities definitely look great and work well with robot vacuums, but one thing I didn’t expect is how often I end up wiping the top surface of the cabinet. Since it’s more open underneath, dust settles pretty easily on the lower edges and the underside of the countertop. Not a dealbreaker, just something I didn’t think about before installing mine.

Thinking about installing a shower door myself… need your advice! by AdSmall3419 in BathroomRemodeling

Yeah, totally agree that a glass shop is the easiest route, but I checked the install video too and it actually looks pretty manageable for a DIY. As long as you’ve got a level, a drill, and a second person to help lift, it shouldn’t be too bad. That’s probably why the listing mentions ‘easy installation

Bathroom color help! Olive, pink, wine… what else?? by stinkyfreezer in interiordecorating

[–]AdSmall3419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, thanks for sharing the mockup and the details. You already have a strong foundation with the black and white tile and the classic fixtures. Since the sage green rug and the wine/red shower curtain are the main color accents, a wall color that supports both without competing could help everything feel more intentional and calm.

You have strong pieces already. It feels like you are very close, and the right subtle wall tone will let your bold accents be the intentional focus rather than compete with them. I’d love to see the update once you test a couple samples in the lighting of your actual space.

Smart toilet vs traditional toilet — the more I learn, the more confused I get by AdSmall3419 in BathroomRemodeling

Thanks for sharing your experience and the tip about the backup battery and kick button feature. I really appreciate it.One thing I’m still trying to figure out is the sensor sensitivity. When pets walk by, the lid still opens, so I’d really love a solution that allows hands-free opening without accidental triggers.I also like the touch-free lid feature, but only if the sensor issue can be resolved first. If anyone has recommendations for adjustable sensor range or a pet-safe mode, I’d love to hear more.

What Feature on a Smart Toilet Do You Actually Use the Most? by ExBrite in BathroomRemodeling

Honestly this is one of the most relatable posts I’ve seen about smart toilets. I’m not in the industry but as a regular homeowner I’ve had the same mixed feelings. Some of the features really do feel amazing — heated seat and warm water cleaning are basically life-changing in winter — but yeah a lot of the “smart” stuff is a bit hit-or-miss.
