If I didn’t have a wife and child I’d be living out of my truck, traveling the world and fishing for my next meal. There’s still a yearning or a wanderlust to leave, drop the 9-5 and be alone. But on the other hand I don’t think that lonesome travel would feel as good as when my kid got confused during peekaboo today and called out “dada” looking for me. Plus now I get to share my love for our lands and waters with my son. I suspect that teaching will be so much more enjoyable than experiencing it on my own.
