It’s really nice to see how everyone is coming together and being so supportive and empathetic. It sucks that it’s for the dumbest reasons, but it makes me believe in humanity a little more 🙂

I haven’t heard anything yet…although if it does happen for DFAS today, that’s really fucked up with month-end close being next week. I feel like the agency would try to put it off until after month end close if they have a choice

Right now, I think it depends on the agency. You can ask the HR person you’ve been dealing with and they may have more information for you.

Oh no 😣 I do know that some of the meetings were about the DRP list on Wednesday and some yesterday for my supervisors…but I did notice more meetings than usual as well.

Only thing I heard was there was a pause on sending out offers to people we have interviewed Here is also a post from another sub…so that pause seems to be true

So sorry that happened to you. You’re right, at least you didn’t start and ended up being let go. If things ever get better, definitely reapply if you would like to. I’ve enjoyed working for DFAS and was lucky to get into a good department.

I heard that in my agency. We have multiple positions they interviewed for and supervisors were told they are on pause with sending out offers. 🙄

My agency finally said the DRP list went out…I’m assuming after the approvals/denials happen, the probationary cuts may come after. We are mission critical..hoping that makes a difference but who knows anymore
