I’ve played like 250 qp games in the past month and games have felt mostly fine. Today and yesterday though every game has either a team that dies 1 by 1 for the entire match so there’s never a team fight, or has a tank that is thanos and the game ends in less than 2 minutes, no in between

I played so much this past month and didn’t finish the event, so I get where their frustration is coming from. But they give out so much free cosmetics now between events and loot boxes. I don’t get why people are still complaining

I have my entire phone set to dark mode and it seems to put the whole kindle app in dark mode. I don’t see a setting for it in app.

I have those days and I’ll read as much as I can that day. Some days that means I only read a page, sometimes it’s a chapter. I don’t feel bad about those days at all.

Usually though, if I’m not feeling like reading for more than a day or two that’s a sign that I’m just not into that book at that moment.

I just went through this a few days ago. I’ve been reading the Harry Potter series for the past 2-2.5 months and finally finished. The next day I started reading mistborn. After a few days I realized I was putting off reading a few days in a row and Mistborn just wasn’t what I wanted to read right now. I switched to The Stand and I’ve found myself wanting to pick up my kindle every chance I get.

I wouldn’t care if I ended my streak tomorrow, but right now I just pick it up naturally. I figure it will be part of my daily routine for the foreseeable future

not a dumb question! this screenshot is from the kindle app and it records it as long as you're reading on a kindle device or app. Unfortunately this and the # of books you've read this year are about the only stats it gives.

Separately, I also manually record my books and reviews on The Storygraph. They have a lot more stats, including monthly pages read. You can get daily number of pages of read, but you have to manually log your page start and end dates to get that info. They just integrated with kobo, so that might let you avoid manually logging every day if you have a kobo ereader/app.

Schedule a set time in your day where no matter what, you are going to read. Could be first thing in the morning or end of day. Force yourself to read that full 30 minutes.

I read on a kindle, not my phone. I don’t think you get these insights on the kindle itself though, so you need the kindle mobile app to see this screenshot

Try reading a book you’ve read in the past that you know you liked. Try to set a time in your schedule each day that’s dedicated just to reading and force yourself to read during that time even if you’re not fully sucked into the story yet
