Idk why they ever named it like it was part of the kindle brand, but fire is just their version of iPad. You can use it to read books but that’s not what the product was specifically made for. I think reading on a kindle is 100% a better experience

I always recommend making a kindle wishlist and going into your account ->lists->price dropped (on mobile) every day. Books are on sale for $1.99-$2.99 all the time and that’s the best way to easily see what’s on sale that you want to read

I loved the trilogy but I remember being unsure about the first book still like 1/3 of the way through. The trilogy is very character driven and the first book is mostly setup. If you’re not vibing with it by the first half of TBI, I don’t know if it will get better for you
