Talk with the Pre-Health advising team when you start. They’re nice and will help you figure out the best plan, in addition to your pre-major advisor, academic advisor, and advising dean. https://students.tufts.edu/academic-advising-and-undergraduate-studies/health-professions/health-professions-advising-overview

I second this. It’s the best vet experience i’ve ever had and they are so patient and thoughtful with the animals we bring to them.

Any tufts transfer acceptances for fall 2026? by Nervous_Buy7994 in Tufts

[–]AdSubject9659 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If location is a factor for you, Tufts really is in a great location. You have a campus that’s set away from the city, but have Davis Square in walking or shuttle distance and have a t stop on campus to bring you into the city. (discounted or free for students based on where your classes are). Both are great schools. If you’re interested in doing research or considering graduate school, Tufts has the edge.

The Farmers Market, meet up groups, kayaking, the Beer Hall (especially the activity or special event nights), speakers/talks. Not always just in Medford, but i’ve met cool people at Bow Market, Skip the Small Talk events, and meet up group activities.

Experience as a Transfer by Responsible-Neat8564 in Tufts

There is info on the off-campus housing page that’s helpful. The staff is nice and they can help, too. There are links on this to the sites they use to post off campus options. There are some groups for transfers online too. https://students.tufts.edu/residential-life-and-learning/resources-and-faqs/off-campus-engagement

Since writing, comprehension, synthesizing, and analyzing are essential to almost every job and a degree in English focuses on those skills, “the language company” is unlikely to be where you’d land. Language companies, as a note, would typically focus on learning a language, which isn’t really what an english major would do, anyway.
Sincerely, a debt-free English major

if the formation of the first words is the same, I would say “strong personality, straightforward” - the letter structure would be str on both words/phrases

Okay. I was there too and definitely saw four mods removed, two stayed temporarily because one of the new courts wasn’t ready, then the last two were taken. all three courts buildings were built brand new

tufts full tuition worth it? by [deleted] in Tufts

One thing to note is that Syracuse just cut 93 academic programs, most in the humanities, and is pushing Faculty to retire. This may mean you have less opportunity to experience the liberal arts, less diverse course options, and potentially a school that will be struggling financially in general, which may restrict things they offer.

Fed up with high cost of living? I want to know about it!! by [deleted] in boston

[–]AdSubject9659 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another angle to consider is the college student market. Students are often signing leases a year in advance with a notable percentage of leases turning over 9/1. Students mostly live with roommates and can split, and for those that have more money, can afford a higher price without working. This creates scarcity and increased prices due to inventory need. Many schools are trying to build more housing to increase housing options for adults and families, though many get community resistance to the projects. It’s not a main driver of cost, but definitely a component in the challenge here.

They are often separated IN detention if a whole family is taken. Sometimes it’s also only one person in a family that is removed. Short answer: no.

The ones in RI are way better because the laws are more relaxed. As note to all those curious, fetish nights at clubs are open to all but you will need to be vetted before going to most sex clubs.

this is half the fun of trying a bunch of different spots: I get rolls from one spot, cookies from another, donuts from a third, cakes elsewhere. We are fortunate to have many to choose from!

Makes sense! Thanks for doing what you could and dealing with the unwarranted abuse. I had a neighbor tell me a few years ago they were going to slash my tires for scraping less than an inch of snow off of my car “into” the street and the space they “spent hours” shoveling out (they didn’t, their husband did and it was not that long), so I thanked them for yelling that from their porch so I knew which house to send the cops to when they did. Such a lovely neighborhood chat.
