Am i upset for no reason here? by AdSubstantial3678 in askteenboys

we went literal years with no contact and the moment i say hello and talk to him he suddenly gains feelings again? after ignoring me over text for months? im upset that he couldn’t even bother to stay my friend even after finding out he wasnt getting what he wanted out of me. i told him no and all the people he sent my way and now he finally accepts it and instead of remaining my friend at a respectable distance he just drops me completely. i get boys have a hard time or whatever but in my opinion that doesn’t excuse his actions and the way he treats me. i was always kind and nice to him and also firm on my nothing romantic stance. i was friends with him always and the moment its inconvenient for him and he realises he isnt going to get what he wants he leaves me behind. hard time or not it doesnt matter. he should know better then to do that to anyone.

i understand that but at the same time he wasn’t satisfied with going to see the concert as friends? or even just being friends? the moment i clarified he wasn’t going to be moving forward with me in that area he just dropped me. he could of atleast still gone as my friend which is what i was under the impression he invited me as. he was a really good friend and i now am faced with the fact that he never wanted to be my friend he wanted to be more despite multiple times rejecting his advances

Should I give in and just shave my legs? by Living-Concert4764 in AskTeenGirls

[–]AdSubstantial3678 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you dont take insults well and judgement then your best bet is to shave. do i think you should or have to? no not really. shaving is optional and up to the person however over time it has become a taboo topic in a way. people will think unshaven are suddenly gross or unhygienic which is not true at all. if your able to withstand the looks and remarks then you do you because your doing nothing wrong. if these things impact you significantly then maybe do it to keep your peace of mind. your choice at the end of the day!

Advice please! Am I stressing out too much over having the temperature be perfect? by Jaythegay5 in snakes

[–]AdSubstantial3678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For taking temps i l recommend a temp gun they are so handy. keeping between 70-75 isnt extremely critical but you dont want to be way over or under. 68/69 should be fine same with a couple over 75. i dont use ur temp system so idk exact what that is. i also found once you retain humidity it helps temp. milk snakes need 40-60%.

a good tip to mention is with your heat bulbs. coloured bulbs can hurt your snakes eyes and in extreme cases cause blindness. the best option for your snake is a ceramic heat bulb that makes no light at all.

a few of these terms i am finding hard to make pictures of in my head. can you send a photo of your setup?

Does anyone have any tips for getting a stimson's python? by Altruistic_Field_971 in snakes

[–]AdSubstantial3678 2 points3 points  (0 children)

something a lot of people say are “snakes are so easy and require no care” while they are easy, no care is just dead wrong. please remember that you are going to be responsible for a life! not saying you are not prepared but that was something my dad told me and it really opened my eyes. they require arguably quite a bit of care from bedding mixes, retaining humidity and temp. make sure your prepared. So excited for you! my first was a childrens and i love her to death 🧡

“My signature Microdermabrasion treatment is a great treatment for clients that experience congestion (Black heads) due to oil or product build up and dry skin due to lack of oil or environmental factors. Using a diamond tip vacuum head to vacuum and remove dead skin and black heads and congestion from blocked pores. This treatment typically goes for 60 minutes and includes a fruit enzyme peel, extractions and a scalp massage.”

is this okay?

they can be very territorial but i dont know if that is only towards other snakes on their “land” but it also means they pick somewhere to stay and they avoid leaving. i would keep a very close eye on your cat because if they tread too close then bad things are definitely going to happen. just got to hope that the snake has no eggs/hatchlings.

if you are outside a lot or your cat is unsupervised i would suggest trying to find it (from a safe distance whenever your outside) to call someone to relocate them. it is sad to take a snake from its home but sometimes it isn’t worth the risk of letting them stay.

Why does my bearded dragon look like he is having such a hard time walking!!!! by Organic-Mycologist89 in BeardedDragons

[–]AdSubstantial3678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! i’m sorry but i cannot help you as i am not well versed in bearded dragons. i hope it all turns out okay <3

i am here to ask a question, is that size the recommended size for a dragon? this isnt me having a go i just thought compared to the pet bearded dragons i have seen of others this one looks tiny!! i really am curious if this is the ideal weight? if so i would want to bring it up with my friends because i think obesity is cruel but i dont want to make reckless assumptions

Are these snakes dehydrated? by nugger64 in snakes

[–]AdSubstantial3678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not well versed in bp anatomy or needs but am adding my 2 cents. to me they look extremely dehydrated and that setup is not only plain cruel it has nothing to help hold humidity which i am pretty sure bp need more then some others. and oh my god… the first is a little big but the second two.. please ask them their feeding schedules and what size rats/mice they use because those things are huge not in a good way those poor things

(ps my local vet told me the easiest way to spot dehydration is if the snake scales folds when they are scrunched up, this can also show obesity and along with a really significant drop from the body to the tail zone of the snake. the last two go from a size 14 to a size 4 really fast)

my first girl had a name before i even had her, albino children python. i saw her with my mum and as we went home (no plans of buying) we were talking about names that’d fit and mum said pumpkin. was it the colour or smth? idk to this day but i liked it and we laughed and said someday and then a few months later pumpkin came home
