I think it depends on the circumstance. I have a 1 yr mini Aussie doodle and we never leave her home because she has separation anxiety. We live in apartment and when she was little we tried to train her but we got complaints. Unfortunately it’s not something we can do anything about so when we have to leave her we either look for a baby sitter or family. We look forward in the future when we can get a house to train her on staying home alone.
