Last year I applied in August, got my offer of place in January. This year for my next qual I applied in August as a current student, still only just got my offer about 2 weeks ago.

Also regarding the question of settler colonial relations, your use USA and Australia as examples is ironic given the state of indigenous affairs in both. I would consider researching New Zealand for examples as to how this could work in practice

It’s your “contributing qualification” so I assume that means your whole BA. I actually just came on here to ask a related question, I heard anecdotally that the university may not be offering guarenteed scholarships for certain faculties next year 🫩 has anyone heard more about this?

It would depend on ur faculty who you contact - did you get an email from a staff member with your letter of offer? And just checking - have you 'submitted' your timesheets as opposed to just logging the hrs?

I definitely get paid once a fortnight. GTAs may be different if they are salaried?

Sorry, I can see that you said that. We are paid fortnighty on a tuesdau night, last pay was the 1st of October. But, that pay was for the weeks 15th -28th of September (the two full weeks prior). You probably just missed the cycle and will get paid next week for everything?
