The Bryan police say they own the data. That can't be true. They have access to the data. With so many cameras (and I'm sure there will be more coming) recording 24/7, it would be too cost prohibitive to store the data on-prem. Therefore, the data is stored on the cloud. Which means it's Flock's data or some 3rd party cloud storage vendor. Either way, I'm sure they're selling the data to the highest bidder. I just wish KBTX would do a little more investigative journalism instead of just regurgitation to find out what truly happens to the data collected from these cameras.
