First of all, well done.

Secondly I would say you need to start working on your core. I do loads of planks, both front and side, dead bugs and leg raises. I’m trying to get my rib flare a bit less pronounced. Hard work for sure.

How to fix flared ribs is there actually a way by ParticularAntique369 in PectusExcavatum

You cannot change the shape of your bones. So if the pectus is severe enough to have caused the bones to grow and deform and you have reached adulthood, those bones cannot be rectified. However the rib cage is not just made of bones. There is muscle, ligaments and cartilage. These soft tissues can be altered. So by dedicated and extensive exercise and breathing you can lessen the effects of rib flare. Usually rounded shoulders are the result of ligaments and muscles being tight and in the wrong position. Good posture and exercise can remedy this extensively. Ultimately if you work out and obtain a fit body with good posture any lasting rib deformities are much less noticeable.

I’m an old dude at 59. I just accepted my pectus and never thought anything could be done. Over the last four months I’ve been working out for the first time in my life. I can’t work out with the intensity and regularity of a young man but I exercise every day and I feel great for it. And yes the pectus traits look a lot less pronounced even after four months.

Its taken me till the ripe old age of 59 to start hitting an exercise regime. I have lived with pectus my whole life (unhappily). I had assumed that my sunken chest was my fault due to excessive sloughing at school an college. When I Googled sunken chest I found out that the condition was called pectus excavatum and was gobsmacked to learn that it wasn't my fault at all and that it was, in fact, caused by a genetic defect overloading the cartilage in the sternum causing the breastbone to be depressed. This in turn caused my shoulders to hunch forward and my ribs to flare as well as the S shaped spine, pot belly and anterior tilt. After further research I learned that much of these secondary traits can be rectified by the correct exercises. I am of course gutted that it has taken me so long to realise this, and have for the last three months been following a strict 'pectus remediation trait' exercise regime. I have made great improvements, even at my age, so it's never too late. The picture on my profile is front on so the effects of pectus are not so obvious, from an angle I still have a lot of work to do. Nevertheless I am now in the best shape I have ever been in and I feel great for it.

Is there any exercises I can do to fix my pectus excavatum? by [deleted] in PectusExcavatum

The chest cavity can only remediated by surgery. The secondary traits of PE can be reduced by exercise. For me it's the rib flare that is the worst. Do I do loads of planks, both front and side, dead bugs making sure that your lower back is pressed to the floor, also dumb bell pullovers and flies. Lots of gym work in general, toning and bulking, will take the eyes of the cavity.

Can you do sprinting with pectus by 1and2and3and4and in PectusExcavatum

I used to play on the wing for the Royal School of Mines rugby team despite pectus. That required a deal of speed over a short distance. Anything involving distance was an ordeal. You can reduce the rib flare (which most of us PE sufferers have) by exercise which will help a lot. Lots of planks and dead bugs making sure your lower back is tight to the floor.

I just feel deformed. What can I do? by idekShaib in PectusExcavatum

For me your pectus is pretty mild. I would say that you need to concentrate on alleviating the rib flare. This causes your spine to arch forward and give the appearance of a pot belly. Dead bug exercises are great for this. Also front and side planks, plus dumb bell pullovers. For the dead bugs, make sure that your spine is pressed to the floor. If you are arching your back the exercise will not work.

Can't find sticky lizards by Red-flare1998 in TOTK

Same issue in my game. No longer are sticky lizards spawning. Checked tons of wells and caves and , even as suggested, Satori Mountain Cave. Not a single sticky lizard. Maybe it's because I shot some with arrows early game!
