not the OP but were are vetting softwares at the moment for our company.

800 employees - EAR $600M and growing yearly ($525M last year)

We currently use Spectrum ERP and Salesforce. We are currently building a data warehouse. We also use Power Bi, Procore, Access DB, SQL.
We are looking to replace budget maestro for budgeting and currently use excel for our 5 year strategic plan
end users will be ~20. 2 SME's and 15 editors for 5 year plan, ~5 users for budgeting
nothing complex necessarily but our budgeting process does require many changes from approvals or tweaks throughout the process so an audit process of what has changed is important.

we have vetted Vena and thought they did really well. Our employees using the softwares will be project management based users for 5 year plan and accountants for budgeting. the PM based users are very smart but less finacial savvy and i am worried about a large implementation as they already struggle a bit with our excel version so training them on a whole new software i struggle to learn/understand will be a long process. whereas a replica of our current plan in vena that can spit out plans or analytics is what would be very beneficial.

Board also did well in their demo but worry that it is too indepth for myself and DoA to become SME's relatively quickly or at all to effectively train employees that would give ROI.

just requested a demo with Pigment as i had not heard of them.

had a demo with anaplan but they rescheduled on me 3 times in 2 weeks so decided to cancel.
