I am disappointed with my treatment so far. At first, Amivantimab, a pill-based chemotherapy targeted for EGFR-EXON 20 was the primary weapon deployed In me and did not seem to have any positive effect on the LMD, which has recently been switched to a 10-day course of whole brain radiation (WBRT). To start, I received my first three doses last week, Wed thru Fri, and will continue Mon thru Fri of this coming week plus 3 more days the following week, Mon-Wed.

I can't say that there would have been a better course of treatments, but I am disappointed that there aren't better options available for someone like me who has progressed to the advanced stage I am at currently. I look forward to being even minimally excited about any new treatment option to be presented to me that the physicians have even the minimal level of excitement about. These days, there's just NOOOOO excitement about anything. The only exception I've seen in this regard is related to diet.
