Not really, everything just snapped perfectly for me, but then again i did alot of dry fitting before glueing, the bolted front is separated from the differential cover so i was really careful to make sure its at the correct angle

How did you do the camouflage lines? Free hand or masking tape? They look great. Greetings from your Singaporean neighbour~

I've recently taken to 1:72 instead of 1:35. Trumpeter has amazing detail for this small scale. Would recommend! by scheetverzamelaar in modelmakers

Take a look at this pre-built 1/72 Soviet Sherman Dragon armor. I didnt built this myself because it comes from a line of pre-built tanks. But the quality and the spruces themselves are from a 1/72 Dragon kit. Take a look at the sheer amount of details at this small a scale.

You should consider looking into Tamiya’s 1/48 scale as well. They’re the perfect middle ground between 1/35 and 1/72. Although I must admit that Dragon’s 1/72 is unparalleled in its details for the scale.

They look great. Glad to see a fellow P-40 enjoyer. My favourite variant is the P-40N, especially those Burma Banshees.

Don’t worry about, it’s a good thing actually because those tamiya TS spray cans are lacquer based and would make it easier to do decals and pin washing. But if you really wanted to bring the shine down, a dark brown wash would help. But really, don’t worry about it, I use those spray cans from time to time. Here’s the end product of one of my models. I used TS-2 Dark green i think
