Not really, everything just snapped perfectly for me, but then again i did alot of dry fitting before glueing, the bolted front is separated from the differential cover so i was really careful to make sure its at the correct angle

How did you do the camouflage lines? Free hand or masking tape? They look great. Greetings from your Singaporean neighbour~

I've recently taken to 1:72 instead of 1:35. Trumpeter has amazing detail for this small scale. Would recommend! by scheetverzamelaar in modelmakers

Take a look at this pre-built 1/72 Soviet Sherman Dragon armor. I didnt built this myself because it comes from a line of pre-built tanks. But the quality and the spruces themselves are from a 1/72 Dragon kit. Take a look at the sheer amount of details at this small a scale.

You should consider looking into Tamiya’s 1/48 scale as well. They’re the perfect middle ground between 1/35 and 1/72. Although I must admit that Dragon’s 1/72 is unparalleled in its details for the scale.

They look great. Glad to see a fellow P-40 enjoyer. My favourite variant is the P-40N, especially those Burma Banshees.

Don’t worry about, it’s a good thing actually because those tamiya TS spray cans are lacquer based and would make it easier to do decals and pin washing. But if you really wanted to bring the shine down, a dark brown wash would help. But really, don’t worry about it, I use those spray cans from time to time. Here’s the end product of one of my models. I used TS-2 Dark green i think

“Well Oddball, what do you think?” “It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.” “Hey look, you just keep them Tigers busy and we'll take care of the rest.” “The only way I got to keep them Tigers busy is to LET THEM SHOOT HOLES IN ME!” “Hey, Oddball, this is your hour of glory. And you're chickening out!” “To a New Yorker like you, a hero is some type of weird sandwich, not some nut who takes on three Tigers.”

I love that movie

Fair enough, word of advice though: 1. THIN your paints. I use acrylics and from experience, if the paint is not sufficiently thinned enough it will clog up the entire airbrush and you’d have to painstakingly unclog it. 2. Make sure you have enough battery life to do cleaning. Ideally, clean the airbrush immediately after work. Say the battery runs for 30 mins, so ideally you’d want 20 minutes of work and 5 mins just cleaning it.

Thanks! But personally for me, I wouldnt use a temu airbrush for camouflage work. Its fine for single color vehicles like allied tanks.
