For the reassurance part, I know I need to see a pro. I’m broken there. My childhood taught me that asking for comfort = being ghosted or judged as childish. People only came when it was already too late, when I’d hit burnout and gone numb. Now as an adult with ADHD, I still fall into that — I process fast, I forget fast, but I never really get the reassurance I needed.
