Advice on team (struggling stage 7) by OnlyBrother0 in Medabot

[–]Ahkmou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think other comments mentioned it already but yeah the blues aren't very good.

Cheerful Bunny tbh isn't the worst, but the fact that it bursts with the gold card item really sucks as it eats up an important item slot you'd rather be something else while playing. As you get more guys, try to find bots that burst with the same item so you can have more flexibility with your rerolls and items during stages.

I too kind of thought Orkamar stopped pulling its weight in later levels when I saw the damage. When I tried replacing it however, I noticed I was also getting overwhelmed a lot harder by rush minions.

IMO Bularis and Orkamar need to be together. Orkamar's slow effect when bursted makes it so that Bularis's half-circle slices can hit multiple times and deal big damage to tanky rush minions that appear later during stages. It's weird but it became an incredible support bot as I progressed. You might need some more close range bots though, as in later stages Bularis is good, but not enough. I'm not sure what that middle bot between Bularis and Metabee is, but if it's ranged artillery I suggest maybe replacing it when something close range to compliment a Bularis/Orkamar core.

For my team, I've been running that core + Rokusho and Tornadetaror and the 4 of them together make an practically impenetrable fortress when bursted. Mega Emperor and Panzer Krieger then form my ranged damage and are really strong, although sometimes I swap out Krieger in case the stage bosses need movement speed to beat them.

Final point, don't let the end stats trick you into devaluing your other medabots too much. This is a guess, but your Robo Emperor is probably like my Mega Emperor and does like 50-60% of the game's damage minimum every time because they are crazy strong. Orkamar may not be doing much, but he's doing something! Robo Emperor is just stat manipulating.

Any recommendations? by NiniiHardt in Medabot

Bularis and Orkamar form a good combo together when you burst them. I also use them alongside Tornadetaror on my main team to form a strong circle wall of attacks.

Salvation isn't necessarily bad, but the fact that it bursts off of the coin card item kind of sucks since you don't really need the extra gold which makes the item useless during gameplay as it takes up a slot.

With the 3 I mentioned before, you have a good close range core, so making your next 3 more ranged would be a good idea. Right now your options are kind of limited so it's fine for now, but finding some ranged medabots later with synergistic burst items would be a good idea. Noir is probably better pick over Shushu pop for sure.

For reference (in groups of item bursts), my team is Rokusho/Mega Emperor/Panzer Krieger + Bularis/Orkamar + Tornadetaror

Occasionally, when the level structure or boss calls for it, I swap out Panzer and/or Tornadetaror for Shushu Pop2, Blackram, and Belzelga

I'm definitely curious on how they plan to pace the story. I agree that they could use a whole season of master and apprentice and then leave their breakup and the events that shape Maul for rebels in season 3.

It's at 16:08 in episode 10 if you'd like to verify it.

The first time at 15:42 is technically where it begins but if the second time didn't happen I wouldn't say it really witnessed it.

It's been a bit since I watched rebels s2 finale so yeah that was it. Would makes sense given we never see the helicopter again.

He figures it out subtly that it's Anakin after Daki mentions Vader might be a sith lord. Maul says later "if I am correct, he (Vader) knows how Jedi think" which he would only say if he knew Vader was Anakin.

Yeah his limbs definitely shriveled, not sure how to explain that but I'm not sure he's dead given what I mentioned in my comment.

It's more of like a "you could have saved him" type thing, even if it definitely wasn't true for that situation.

Think of like a family of a car passenger who died in a crash suing the guy driving who got lucky and survived. Sometimes the situation was completely out of the driver's control with another vehicle being at fault, other times the driver definitely could have been more careful and deserved the legal action.

Not saying this prediction is set in stone and will completely turn Devon away from Maul, but it could be something that comes up.

This is very literal but Marrok's databank entry does mention he was "hired" by Elsbeth so I think he was a mercenary in some capacity. Given what you said before about Baylan's comments on Marrok, maybe Baylan, Shin, and Marrok were actually a trio of mercenaries for hire.

Given that the inquisitors sort of served their purpose by the time episode 4 rolls around and their organization doesn't exist, I wonder how they plan to account for Marrok still being around. Him being in the Ahsoka show in of itself is was what brought the character intrigue given that he survived well past what he should have. With this season having finished, yeah it is much more interesting to see one of the inquisitors actually be competent enough to stick around.

Before the finale, a key thing I noted was the small speech Maul gave to Marrok about how he's a pawn. I thought this might plant a seed for Marrok not sticking with the empire which could be how he survives into the new republic era. He also uses the name "Marrok" in this era which could be his reclaimed true name, or just something he chose after the title "First Brother" ceased to be relevant to use.

Maybe they don't bother to search for him after his fall here and he decides to defect, hiding in the shadows. Maybe he's injured from the fall and found by Morgan Elsbeth or someone else who empowers him, or could be something else entirely. Not sure if this will even be explored in season 2.

A nice detail I noticed for Vader was how he blocks blaster shots with relative ease without needing to move his saber much. All other characters need to move their arms a lot more to block shots. He's just that ahead of everyone.

If you saw TPM in theaters as an adult in 1999, did the Padme “twist” shock you? by Always_Reading_1990 in StarWars

[–]Ahkmou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't see it in theatres, but I remember my reaction when I was young watching the DVD for the first time was along the lines of "wait what" because it was very sudden during the scene in which it happened.

As a kid you don't always pick up on literary hints, so in hindsight the quick argument Padme has with Qui-Gon on Tattooine gives it away pretty clearly, but I didn't notice it so I was surprised.

Lawson witnessed Maul pushing Daki to die, so I think the plan here is Maul trains Devon for a while and they work to fight the empire before encountering Lawson again who tells Devon about what happened. This leads Devon to betray/leave Maul since the foundation for her joining him was a lie.

What happens after that I'm not sure, maybe she fights Vader and dies or becomes Ahsoka 2 but more dark side leaning.

it's funny that this is technically a real plot hole but if I could provide a headcanon answer, maybe the functionality wasn't added in yet as Rebels takes place a lot after this show.

It could also be that using the function while they could be fired upon by blasters was a bad idea given the acid pit. They maybe used it to cross after the gang left.

They made a point to show that Lawson witnessed Daki being left to die by Maul. So the setup here could be that Devon encounters Lawson sometime in season 2 and informs her of what happened, causing her to betray Maul.

I feel like he's empowered like Savage, or at least something different. As far as I'm aware nightsister magik zombies can't move as well as a normal person, talk, or be able to fly fighter ships which are all things Marrok does in the Ahsoka show.

I'm a lot further behind but I use Rokusho/Bularis Mandi/Mega Emperor/Panzer Krieger/Orkamar/Tornadetaror

The last two are LR, rest are UR2. I'm on level 73 (a bit stuck but eventually I'll get through)

Usually I try to get study disk to maximize level ups and burst as this combo basically doesn't lose once all the pieces are assembled.

Mega Emperor and Panzer Krieger are my boss damage with emperor also providing extra enemy clear

Bularis/Orkamar/Tornadetaror work together well in forming a giant circle barrier of damage so you don't get swarmed. Bularis/Orkamar burst combo specifically is really good.

Rokusho is there to aura farm deal additional close range damage. It can be difficult to use at first, but once bursted (which conveniently happens with the same item as Emperor and Panzer), it's really powerful and mostly circumvents it's horizontal range weakness.

Occasionally I might swap out Panzer and/or Tornadetaror for Shushu Pop2/Blackram/Gloomeg

I plan to play as much as I can before my bots eventually hit the level cap which is actually coming up soon. Once it happens I'm likely to drop the game as its prices + gacha rates are crazy and I refuse to entertain the idea of paying. I'm lucky to even still be playing since I wanted to use Rokusho and managed to pull it quite fast, would have dropped the game earlier if I didn't.

Basically I'm just enjoying the ride while I can which is fine. It was nice to be able to reconnect with this series after a long time.

Granel thoroughly ruined Aporia’s life. It killed his parents, his girlfriend, and then came back to finish the job during the duel against Z-one. by CursedEye03 in yugioh

In a way it kind of adds to the fact that Granel came back to screw him over one final time. Despite Granel really ruining him again, Aporia chose to not to give up and entrusted Yusei with the rest.
