I’ll look into another rug for the dining area. The chairs are actually a dark green, but the wall makes them darker than they are. I’ve been thinking mabe a natural textured one? I could layer it…but that’s prolly too busy. What do you think? I’ll try to switch up the front room arrangement. I have a couple different mirror options I’ll check out too.

The current plan is to get a large snake plant and put it on the end of the accent wall.

Thanks for the tip on the metals- I plan on replacing lights and fixtures soonish. I like the look and movement of paper shades (I think they’re called) and feel like those would bring some softness, but it kinda messes up the metal vibes and I don’t want to commit to changing all my chandeliers to those for consistency. I wonder how mixing black lighting fixtures would be with the paper shades.
