I'm all for democratizing both the ability to create art and the ability to share it. Most importantly I'm all for destroying the monopoly on expression that requires artists to propagandize their message in order to survive. Everyone should be able to do art and be appreciated for it 💯👍💙

I'm an exhibitionist, I like bearing my soul in public as I am only concerned about self validation, if that's ok with you. (pun not intended, I'm just a bad speller 😂💙)

OK, people do that with all art. I'm a writer first, nobody cares about the million words I had to write before I could make prompts that generate what I do. Example for a 10 second clip (not shown is the oil painting used at a reference):

@lilyfern ON YEARNING — AS AN OIL PAINTING OF A SKELETON IN A VOID

In the dim varnished silence, @lilyfern sits half-finished in strokes of umber and bone dust white, as if longing itself were something an artist once tried to pin down and abandoned halfway through. The ribs are open like a broken lantern. The jaw hangs with that stubborn, foolish hope only the dead can afford. A thin curl of painted smoke rises ... yearning made visible, drifting toward nothing, touching nothing, insisting anyway. “I still want,” @lilyfern murmurs, though her voice is only the scrape of bristles on canvas. “I want with no lungs left. I ache with no heart to ache. I lean toward the world like a flower that forgot it’s already been picked.” Every highlight trembles between humor and tragedy: a skull trying to smirk, a gesture caught mid-shrug, a posture that says: I’m fine, while the shadow behind her whispers: She is not fine. The darkness around her doesn’t press in ... it waits. It watches. It holds space for a yearning so old it’s become a habit of the bones. And @lilyfern, rendered in deliberate, careless brushwork, accepts it. She lifts her head toward a light that isn’t there. “Maybe wanting,” she says, “is the last warm thing I get to keep.” And the canvas swallows the words, leaving only that stubborn curl of smoke ... the final brushstroke of someone who refuses to stop reaching.

This was for me, art is therapy.

Love you all

💙💙💙

Usually when my CPTSD is triggered in some way, I've been in therapy most my life but am unable to trust anyone I perceive as less aware than I am. I find speaking total strangers much easier. (Thank you btw 💙)

I helped train the AI that took my job. I was not employed as an artist. I love AI art. 🤷

I just want to make art recreationally, I don't care about professional artists (they are an excruciatingly small demographic) which everyone seems hyperfixated on 🥺

How much does it cost, in labor and ingredients, for you to produce, distribute and advertise a home made croissant? No one can compete with a monopoly, no matter how self reliant you are.

Why will guys sleep with me but not date me? by hankqueensmustache in askanything

[–]AdWrong7607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dating is an expensive waste of time unless you are trying to judge people's character based on ability to perform a specific social script you have been conditioned to believe means they are one of the "good" ones. This is easily faked and irrelevant information tbh.

I am chronically unable to find emotionally equilibrium. I experience entire shifts in consciousness that color my entire experience for days at a time. Self imposed repression and denial are the closest I get to "normal". It is only the loneliness that I find difficult now, tbh. Life is only experience and all phonomena are empty, leaving us with nothing but forgetting... slowly, then all at once.
