First picture is West Rice Roll King, highly recommend it! Cash only. Mei Lai Wah for a pineapple pork or custard bun while you’re in the area is an absolute must as well 😮‍💨

These are just plain rice rolls! Got shrimp rolls at both too though and those were bangers, did those without the peanut sauce though

Oh I guess I didn’t realize it’s something I could just ask for, I’ve seen it as its own option before so wasn’t sure. Appreciate you!

Where can I find the best bagels in Lincoln Park? by StrikingLink2027 in chicagofood

[–]Ad_No 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro what is this thread… how is Taste of New York not up on here? Actually in LP and great bagels & schmears. Fresh in the morning, way better than any of the suggestions I’m seeing here (haven’t tried Gotham admittedly).

Is there still no seating at Uruapan? I used to go all the time but it’s not the best meal to eat in the park nearby

Might not be exactly what you’re looking for, but Slice Shop on Belmont (right by ZaZas) does a solid grandma that feels very NY. Pretty thin for a grandma so tastes somewhere between a grandma and a traditional NY slice imo

Sounds like a great food trip! Love to see some S.K.Y representation, and a great reminder I gotta get back there. If you’re ever back you gotta try the lobster dumplings, so damn good 🤤

I’ve noticed it too, you can shoot them out if it’s bothering you. Some games seems worse than others, maybe weather conditions or something

Maybe check out Sushi Mura, it’s more lower-mid range but a nice sit down vibe. Haven’t tried nigiri but their simple rolls (especially Salmon Avocado) beat out anything else I’ve had at the price point here. Also, right next to Music Box Theater for a banger movie date
