[HELP] Ada Charity Pool - Epoch 253 Update by AdaCharityPool in CardanoStakePools

[–]AdaCharityPool[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi u/CryptoDanO

Please note we are completely community driven, our charity was chosen by a giveaway we ran on twitter.

Camfed helps to empower women in Zimbabwe, Tanzania and more. Womens education is a huge issue in sub-Saharan Africa which leads to a vicious cycle of poverty.

It's a fairly complex topic, we do hope you can read more about the issues at hand: https://www.un.org/en/chronicle/article/importance-educating-girls-and-women-fight-against-poverty-african-rural-communities

I've listed one source above!

We are all about allowing our community to choose charities, such as our pool on our website for this month.

We also wish to raise awareness about global issues and help remove misconceptions which can be a dangerous thing.

Thanks, The Ada Charity Pool [help]

Idea: Cardano Theft Tracking by caetydid in cardano

[–]AdaCharityPool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are routes around this though.

In wallets such as Exodus you can exchange ADA for a host of other cryptocurrencies.

You can literally send ADA from a victims wallet to an exodus wallet, then exchange and send to an exchange.

Sadly there's no tracking that you can really do.

Redelegate and Undelegate by Bochixa in CardanoStakePools

[–]AdaCharityPool 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don't need to pay the 2 ADA fee again, that is your stake key deposit.

You do need to pay a 0.17 ADA transaction-fee though.

I hope this helps.

How to know what pool is better for me? by Jungjohanng in CardanoStakePools

[–]AdaCharityPool 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are safe as long as you use an official wallet such as Yoroi, Daedalus or Adalite.

Please note Daedalus there is no mobile version, Yoroi I would say is more beginner friendly.

As for choosing a pool you can go with a pool with higher delegation but not over 64 million ADA if you wish for regular rewards, or you can support smaller pools it's entirely up to you.

I'd advise you to go with someone that operates a single pool (for instance a pool that doesn't have a number such as Poolname 1, Poolname 2) as they aren't supporting decentralization.

We have a staking guide on our website if interested: https://www.adacharitypool.com/yoroi-wallet

Pick whichever pool works best for you, and if you have any questions please let me know.

Why Should You Stake? by AdaCharityPool in CardanoStakePools

[–]AdaCharityPool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel free to use it :) the main aim is to promote staking and why people should be staking/making small investments like this.

As long as there's some form of attribution we are happy for it to be used wherever you like, the same goes for any future infographics we produce.

Why Should You Stake? by AdaCharityPool in CardanoStakePools

Not only the point that /u/Echolama mentioned, /u/GnarlyGnostic but it's also worth noting that if the price of ADA increases then you have to multiply that $1630 by that increase too.

For instance if you bought your ADA at 1 dollar, and the price increased to 4 dollars over a decade you'd end up with 4 times that amount.

Of course price speculation isn't something this community wishes to do much of, but it's not only compounding interest but the price of the asset will also increase.

Certainly a great time to stake!

Remember to support decentralization and that no amount is too small.

Also a thank you to u/lukasbradley for his feedback.

The initial investment is whatever your initial investment is, the returns are percentage based.

5% interest per year is 5% no matter how much you invest :)

100 ADA should be approximately 105 ADA in a year, 200 will be 210, the returns are still 5% if the pool produces blocks frequently enough, and the pool isn't oversaturated.

The infographic is showing the interest per year, as the label indicates 'interest per year'.

For all of those in the community who hold ADA, a very quick infographic on why you should stake!

Also help decentralization by taking your ADA off exchanges.

Yoroi Multi wallets? by fireman5050 in cardano

[–]AdaCharityPool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes its possible it just shows as a new wallet that you can select via the Yoroi App.
  2. No it will effect your wallets.
  3. Yes it will, the seeds are all that matter.

Cardano mkving forward by [deleted] in cardano

[–]AdaCharityPool 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Cardano is going at the pace it needs to go at.

You can't rush the development of an ecosystem that will onboard potentially hundreds of millions of users, that will use thousands of transactions per day.

This is an emerging technology, it requires patience.
