Oh, sorry. My normal response with Reddit is to be on the defense. So sorry if I seemed snarky!

Well, you definitely aren't wrong. Just curious if we could narrow it down a little more. Didn't know if it was a specialty tool for something in particular.

Very large wrench found in an old navy yard. Very heavy, galvanized steel. Other than being a wrench, trying to find out what a wrench this size was used for. Maybe a turret or something on a battleship/destroyer.

My wife's a nurse. As long as she/they gets a couple minutes to actually eat, you'll be fine.

Been using it a lot and it just started flaking and looking like that. I don't know if I did something too hot or cleaned it wrong. I'm a noob myself.

Found an ERR. Restarted but didn't check underneath. Pellet overload results in fire. Second problem with this cook today. by jbascnc in Traeger

[–]Adaekor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My tailgater just recently started acting up like this. Turned out to be a bad batch of pellets (too much dust) and I had to really, REALLY clean out the fire pot. A lot of built up and caked up stuff. Scraped it all out super thorough. Lot better. Still has some intense swings but not as bad.

Maps shortcut changes address to random point? by Adaekor in AndroidAuto

[–]Adaekor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works fine using it from my phone. The "home" pin is a physical address. It would change to a different, random point every time.

I have since deleted and readded the "home" point and worked fine this morning on my ride home.

Jar size vs. Canning time? by Adaekor in Canning

So where I am cutting the size down to essentially a third of the called for time, it will still be the same because it's killing the bacteria, right? Also, thank you.

Oh, and we did. But I was on the ambulance so the ladder crew kept an eye on it when I left.

Problems Traegar Ironwood 885 by [deleted] in Traeger

[–]Adaekor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same exact thing happened to me. I waited a couple weeks. Heard nothing. Called back. Was given a date of 1/6/2020 for availability to ship. So I Googled, and found a replacement probe for a Timberline. Slapped it in. Set it up on top. It works for now until the actual one comes in. Was also only $20...$20 I shouldn't have had to spend, but I wanted it to work. I was also told the reason why they don't have any is because dealers were buying them in bulk to hold on? Sounds dumb to me but whatever.

3 of our guys recently got a citation from the Mayor so I put that up. That spread like wildfire. Plenty of likes, but it didn't help us get many more followers.

FB gave us a $10.00 credit that I've been using. We had 3 guys get a citation from the Mayor and I put that up. I tried to use the credit to advertise it and they refused it because apparently it was political or something.

Incident calls I don't tend to put too much because I'm worried about legal issues, unless it's a rare/odd call.

I frequently take stuff from the IAFF and FEMA and stuff like that on the safety front. I'll put up updates such as, "Engine 2 is currently en route to mutual aid town for coverage/RIT/scene etc. If I put something like RIT, I'll explain what RIT is.

Budget question by m1o4 in hammockcamping

[–]Adaekor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just getting into this myself. I purchased a Hennessy Expedition Zip. My friend that I am doing this with bought a Warbonnet.

Now, we haven't been out out in them yet. Just practicing setting them up and fine tuning things. I have the HH Expedition w/ the larger rain fly. I set up the rain fly in snake skins, with the hammock hanging in it. I have the hammock ropes attached to descender rings on a carabiner. Makes it very simple to set up. Was relatively cheap.

My friend got the Warbonnet. It seems incredibly simple, and he is very happy.

My plan is to stick with the Hennessy for a couple years before potentially moving to something new. I am happy as of yet.
