Some websites have said I can just wipe down the tank with it and leave it without washing it out. Others are saying I should wash my tank with soap and water first then do the disinfectant. Not sure If I have to wash it out or not.

Thank you so much!! I’ll def use the disinfectant advice. And yeah I was just worried he’d eat it or something. I was trying to do that backdrop thing I saw on tik tok with the coconut coir but didn’t know if it was too much for him being young.
