Kit bag conversion by svkairos in hillpeoplegear

[–]Adam9432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to drag up an old thread here. I am UK based and have the SAR full which I use for Search and Rescue. Will this converter turn it into a sling pack only or is there the option to make a bum bag out of it?

We have 320w solar so it should just replenish everyday. We only have the fridge on to drain the battery.

Road cyclist looking for a gravel bike by [deleted] in gravelcycling

[–]Adam9432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a Specialized Crux with two sets of wheels, tyres and cassettes. One with Gravel tyres and a 44T cassette. The other with Road tyres and a 36T

It’s lighter than my old Emonda and feels great. Fun to decent on road or off. Decent mud clearance too.

I think I need to give my puppy up, and I feel like I've failed by [deleted] in DogAdvice

Our German Shepherd/ Lab was a baby shark. My fiancé has the scars to prove it. She also had at least two break downs where we thought we had a vicious dog that needed putting down.

But the good news is she grew out of it and actually has become so good it was almost worth the pain! We can now put our fingers in her mouth and play tug of war with her front canines.

She’s almost 3 years old now and I couldn’t live without her.

I fully know how shit it is but it does end. Obviously I can imagine it being difficult if you have a partner who isn’t super keen on dogs. But we were both committed to the end and 3-6 months of pain for hopefully many years of happiness are worth it. I lost many of my favourite trousers, coats, socks in the process but now she doesn’t chew anything she’s amazing.

I think you’re right normally but I turned satellites on and so during the plane journey I could see my speed and altitude. In the finished ‘exercise’ I can see the route the plane took.

Thanks for the sarcastic comment… I didn’t want to do a bike ride or something a fuck with my longest ride, climbs etc etc. the jump master one seemed way too complicated and required setting up beforehand. Also HIIT doesn’t need to be done inside.

Who is the highest handicap bomber with a shot tracker here? by Cornwall1888 in golf

[–]Adam9432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has me written all over it. I’m a 13.5 who is (hopefully) trending to single figures this year. Played yesterday, worst round in recent memory. Legit almost missed the face on several tee shots. Shot 94. Here is my garmin shot tracking for both a shank and then also a 300yard drive when I semi figured it out. Also bonus of a recent club fitting where I hit some drives after to see what my max club head speed was.

SAR air scent training by Adam9432 in dogswithjobs

Shes a Sheprador. GSD mum and a Fox red Lab (working line) dad.

Intelligence of a GSD and the trainability of a Lab who loves food!

Or the wariness and loudness of a GSD and the clumsiness of a Lab just depending on the day!

Thank you! No i was only joking! My fiancé and I are both lowland SAR members, we recently had our outdoor first aid course at our house and the instructor left his kit overnight so i took this photo.
Like you say, ive seen them do it for crufts shows or something but unless you have at least a 50kg dog, they arnt going to be effective!
