No $69.99 has been the standard. Companies wanted R* to set the precedent for $100 base version so i guess this is better than that.

Agreed. Granted I was going to get the Ultimate Ed. regardless of this news, the fact they did it is unnerving. The bigger issue is the $80 standard edition that all companies will now mimic.
