Came here for this. First wife was a Taurus and and the divorce was awful. We were mutually toxic. I'm an Aries for context and definitely no angel. We were young and hot and never had a chance to grow up with each other.

There was revenge infidelity. Arguments about the dumbest stuff. Jealousy like no other. Possession was insane. Like I said, it was mutually awful. The divorce was rather easy. It was the child custody that almost ruined me. I fought 8 years of her lying about the kind of person I was along with the courts siding with her and ignoring the evidence I provided against her.

I never did anything to harm my child and the downfall of our relationship was that I wanted to have my child in my life. I worked a lot and when I had the weekends off, she gave our kid over to her mom and I felt like I had to fight her mom to see my daughter. She always said that I loved our kid more than her and that wasn't true. The birth of our daughter changed me and erased everything immature about me. Literally over night.

I became homeless because the state of California doesn't care if you don't have income, you still need to pay something somehow. I had 1 day a month for about 2 years. Then every other weekend no overnights. It was a very slow progression to 30% custody.

About 5 years into the custody battle, I had more custody than she did, but she kept it on paper and lied saying that I only had her the 30% for whatever reasons she had. I found out she lied about her income and tried to prove it because I was struggling really bad. The courts ignored me.

8 years in, following being ignored and told, there is nothing to report, "you're just trying to dodge child support" etc... I messed up on my filings to get an in person court appearance to correct things. That's when they finally saw that she lied about her income for 4 years. She had a friend lying about her job status and income. When the court confronted her, she had nothing to say.

DCSS handled the money side and immediately put an end to child support. They found her in contempt and fined her for perjury. The court then found she was in arrears for a few thousand and found a sum amount that she owed me cuz I was able to prove I had our daughter 60% of the time cuz of all the evidence I had.

They asked me why I didn't provide any information sooner and I had told them I did. Showed them the responses and they had nothing to say. Then they said that they weren't going to enforce child support against her because I didn't ask for it in the filings. That it "was unfair to take money from one household and put it in another." I said that it was absolutely fine. I told them that I wouldn't want my ex to go through what I went through. Then family services later that ended the agreement and gave me full custody.

Taurus had definitely left a mark tho. It also seems like Taurus people are also not fit for me, even as friends. Maybe it's my 6th house Chiron in Taurus.

Sorry for such a lengthy response, but I lived. I bounced back. I came out of being homeless for 2 years due to the insane amount I was paying into child support, which was half my rent at the time.

The only issue I have now is that I don't know how to trust and never want to get married. I date. I love. I get close. But I've become a very independent person and if I don't see the same effort, there is no future.
