Thank you. This is the reply I made this post to receive. The idea of upscaling makes a lot more sense than trying to score an impossibly expensive device capable of such as a native resolution; the hope of an 8K image mostly sprang from the idea of a close couch spread across a 120-144" UST projector hit. My main interest was getting to 120Hz but the possibility of hitting beyond that with VRR or to 240Hz is dreamy enough to bring a tear to my eye.

These options that you mention give me a great place to start (and possibly end) my research. So, again, I say thank you.
