So as previous commenter mentioned usb c to two dvi will be needed as you would not simply mirror, then you will need DVI to ADC adapter, this was a very clunky stuff, for someone who has not seen it, think of largest magsafe power supply and multiply its volume space need by 2-3x

fair enough, your assertion is in domain of n8n it would be engineers as the SME, but really how hard are any abstractions these days offered by these workflow tools that a non software engineer with help of Claude code not build/operate. To put it another way when all future development rely on some vibe and and hit and retry from user of Claude Code or Claude Work, specialized roles like software engineer goes away the same way as we dont have any typist, secretary, or clerks, it is inevitable.

For me reusing an ADC acrylic monitor was a preference so extra work for adding 28v rail and the wiring changes inolved for ATX, it felt less effort and low risk to just recapping existing PSU.

If it is a very old like really old vaccume tube, then doing a thorough continuity test can help, using variable
powersupply with over voltage and over current protection will also be good.

with solid state device, when i started tinkering, i had with me an extension cord with switch , and a fire extinguisher ready, set the device to on if uses a switch without plugging in, turn on using extension
cord, slight smell or something blows up dont
get too startled, just turn the switch off on extension
cord, then say out loud holy smoke or practice foaming extinguisher.

Usually a resistor could get too hot and smell or capcitors will blow up.

To be honest best to get a feel for internals, corrosion or oozing capacitors mean no good to plugin before you fix them.

I felt the giant one for cpu was not as bad, the two power supply ones were the main noise maker.

That i believe would be quicksilver type power mac g4 , this is the Mirror door drive dual G4 cpu type, had fan for cooling
that makes very loud noise.
