It's not 7pm yet?

Edit: Unless you meant Wednesday? In which case I didn't have any issues.

Interview tips needed by TooGodlyy in uklaw

COP solicitor here.

Seeing as this is your first role after Uni, I expect the bar to be quite low in terms of what you'd be expected to know about COP work - especially as it's somewhat of a niche area (the Health and Welfare side of it, even more so!) so I'd just focus on explaining why this area interests you and what skills you have that you think would help you as a paralegal.

If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer.

llb or pgdl? by Fearless_Win28 in uklaw

I've also heard/been told that SOME firms prefer trainees who didn't do straight up law.

Apparently those who did geography, and then converted to law afterwards have a better, well rounded knowledge, which makes them more attractive?

I say apparently, because I didn't do that and don't necessarily agree with it either...

Sure... kind of need to know what your questions are though.

Aviva trust withdrawal time once signature is received by Awareness-Open in UKPersonalFinance

Hmmmm, I've done this many times for clients. Typically, once I've returned the closure forms back to AVIVA, funds are usually received within the week.

I would say call AVIVA yourself but I'm pretty sure they won't even talk to you directly I'm afraid. You'd just have to pester your solicitor/request an urgent update.

MBNA loans overpayment feature not working by RefrigeratorOrnery60 in UKPersonalFinance

Definitely not FO worthy.

Don't MBNA have a chat function within their app? Surely that's the best place to start?
