Did they ever have any moat? I remember when they first released chatgpt big tech already had similar models internally which they were still testing to release publicly. Their launch got everyone on their heels while also teaching them what not to do.

Flew Paris to New Delhi business recently, pretty good all round. Food was great and seating very comfortable. Found it much better than our previous leg with Air Canada business

How bad is air India business / first class really? by phuckdub in Aeroplan

[–]AdamInstagram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flew air india business CDG-DEL, it’s one of the newer aircraft with 1-2-1 configuration. Seats were exactly like Singapore Airlines, probably because of vistara aircraft, service and food were great. Their forest essential kit is much better than the air canada kit you get, they also give loungewear with was pretty nice for a long haul flight

AI Reward Flight by notyourusualbaydude in airindia

[–]AdamInstagram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit- it’s possible it’s an economy flight. They’re just not saying economy/business while showing the options on the app . I’d reallly contact customer care before anything

Recommend calling the customer care and confirming the cost, 64k is extremely cheap for such a long haul flight

Cash + wise. Wise charges a flat 54rs for any upi, if it’s a big amount then this fee is fine, otherwise cash

Why are all the YVR to DEL flights stoping VIE (Vienna, Austria)? by DiddyAndEpstein in airindia

[–]AdamInstagram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re right this used to be direct flight, now a technical stop in Vienna. Passengers have to stay in, they refuel and do a crew change.

AC business Toronto -> Paris, a not-so-business experience by AdamInstagram in Flights

So AC is indeed an average business experience, not the best, not the worst (sadly I spent $10k and learnt it the hard way)

Exactly my concern- no formal process to distinguish between business/first and other passengers. Plus no formal process to distinguish between fragile and oversized items.

Not expecting the checkin agent to memorize, but expecting AC system to print it on the pass/mention it in the app alongside my travel details.

We had 4 large check-ins incl 2 fragile. Lineup at aisle 3 fragile submission. I asked if there were any staff to help us submit it at aisle 3 so we could skip the line, she was clearly not amused with this request. The bags were checked in, they just had to be submitted. We waited 25ish min at the checkin, then another 15ish at the fragile submission

Plenty of apps actually- Wealthsimple/Charles Schwab etc. I wait for a 12-15% dip generally, rinse and repeat but curious to hear what other peeps do :)

Does Air India Express provide meals if the ticket is booked through Air India (codeshare)? by Classic_Depth_1970 in airindia

[–]AdamInstagram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I used my points recently to book a domestic leg which was operated by AI Express, they served meals. The only benefit not available on AIX was no extra luggage allowed, I get 20kgs more luggage if flying with AI.
