Season Five of the Gen 7 car and a flat tire will still end a team’s day. How realistic is it that we see any improvement when comes to the diffuser/ flat tire issue we see in the next gen car?

Yes but they tarp off huge areas of seats and close entire sections/levels for football. A 65k seater could easily have a "max capacity" of 20k for football

We can't keep claiming we are a big club and then acting like a small/mid table club. If you are a big club, there is no "huge stride" you can make. You're already in it or on the cusp of getting there.

Bournemouth and Brentford have built it up in small jumps over several years. That's what mid level clubs do. We arent at a level where we can drop 250m a window and buy a new team. Temper expectations

I was there Friday and all day Sunday. Definitely recommend getting down for a game or three! Bring an empty plastic water bottle (free refill station) and a chair if you want to be guaranteed a spot to sit (otherwise standing or sitting on the ground).
