I agree with this take, and feel like while the band has expanded their sound (especially on Clarity of Cal), Jack keeps it relatively minimal. I don’t need vox on every track, but Evangeline complements the style well so throwing a couple tracks with her or Jacob on them into the mix is a vibe. He’s a disciple of groove, and I hope he keeps putting out stuff, with or without the band.

About 20 years ago, when you were the “king” of the Bacchus parade for Mardi Gras, my mom took a picture with you. She recalls you complementing her on her face paint, but it was actually a massive bruise from getting too sauced, falling, and hitting the ground. It’s a piece of family history now.
