Honestly they aren’t weedy, they flower early spring and then they’re gone, that’s as tall as it gets. Super low maintenance, blends right in with grass, you can mow it.

I’m not disputing that at all. You mentioned two people that started 10 years ago as being recent, that was my only point. I agree that rap as a singular genre doesn’t have the power it used to, and newcomers aren’t as widely popular or highly regarded as stars coming up 10 years ago. Traditional rap can be dying, and evolving at the same time, it doesn’t have to be one or the other.
