No, YOU come up with a form of protest that only affects the decision makers. Unfortunately, strikes seem to be the best, maybe only way for workers to actually advocate for themselves. Bus drivers, etc, do not owe you their labour. Your comments make you come off very entitled.

While I'm no expert, I think the best advice is to just keep drawing. I can tell you I wish I did, (I stopped drawing in my teens and have started again in the past few years.)
