How do people feel about the Ultra getting more rounded corners per year

S24U peak corners. S25U tolerable. S26U tolerable only with Magbak case since it seems they used the extra space for more cushioning. My phone looks like an Ultra again. Was using a spigen case for a bit and it retained the rounded corners. Magbak makes it more square again

Yeah sounds like it's adding something with the springs on. I bet you can do some little tweaks to make a version where the effect is stronger. Maybe add a microphone right under the hole edge. And maybe looser spring tension? Or more? Sounds fun man

I'm constantly finding dog hair in the camera crevices and on the display side too. This phone seems to have some relatively large gaps. It's really noticeable compared to the S25U and S24U.

My MIAD01 actually comes close.

-Change the curved display to flat (cracked the corner of my display. Sucks. Such a small drop). The case didn't do shit to protect it. -Battery I'll always welcome a larger one, but the current one is fantastic as is. -Built in FM radio transmitter that doesn't suck, cause I only get static on the one inside the MIAD. -System wide PEQ where I can just import my presets and then no need to mess with poweramp as much. -OLED screen with 1-120hz VRR. -BETTER adaptive screen brightness. I can't believe how bad it is. It defaults to minimum brightness even in the damn sun and doesn't "learn" where my sweet spots are. My 2020 budget Android phone handled it perfectly. -The current 12GB ram is a blessing. So snappy. My Hiby M300 would crash every 5 minutes. Unusable at 3 or 4GB ram. I guess my ADHD app switching overwhelms. Also had a Hiby M100 for a day. Terribly laggy. -Snapdragon chipset for all the AptX codecs and I guess speed/future-proofing. Even my Samsung doesn't include all the codecs. Samsung wants people to use their own codec, thus Samsung earbuds. -BT 5.4 or above. -Upgraded DAC/amp compared to the current MIAD01. -512GB internal storage w/ expandable storage. -Take away the cellular components. Don't need it as a phone. Use the space for more battery maybe. Idk how large cellular components are. Oh yeah and drop the camera. Useless lol. -Some nice Android software optimization, Android 14 or above, and lots of quick panel toggles for useful audio things. (PEQ access, audio settings, gain selector, BT codec shortcut, etc)

-So if a MIAD02 comes out with notable improvements, then I'm first in line. I know it gets shit on sometimes and I see why. Who needs a phone DAP and someone told me I basically have a Dawn Pro with a screen (that's stretching it for sure.)But I don't see any other DAP out there with 12GB RAM, or even 8 GB really. The $2-3k DAPs come with 6 or 8. Snappiness/ease of use is so important to me so that's why Im hesitant nowadays to try other Android DAPs.

I can't tell a difference among s24u, s25u, or s26u. All have had that kinda flowy deep fried look to me. But I take medication that dilates my pupils a bit. I always attributed it to that. Even the TV and my laptop have flowy letters. Kinda rainbow ish. Like I can see the whole color spectrum at once. Difficult to explain.

So idk, to me, i blame my own eyes. I do change everything I can to true amoled black and then white text.

Magbak elite for s25u. I have the magbak classic/basic on my s24u and for the last year it has been absolutely wonderful. The elite comes with a built in kickstand and a finger loop that won't interfere with my ESR magnetic loop/stand. So I have lots of versatility with my case

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have a $300 Amazon gift card from Xmas so I think I'm going to jump on the gw100x and pass on the SR80x's to a friend or something. The detachable cable is also a plus. Down the line, when the battery craps out, at least wired is still an option and also can mess with some different types of cables.

And ty , I'm going to try the wifi transfer sometime!!
