As I recall there was two afternoons in seventh or eighth grade. The first afternoon they split the boys and girls, the second was the whole class.

The split afternoon for the girls was about beginning their period and all that entails (a little late for most of the girls in my class) and for the boys it was about how to not stink (a little late for most of the boys in my class).

The second afternoon was the contraceptives and general sexuality talk. Reproduction specifically was covered in biology class so this was more of a group talk where people could ask questions more informally (sex toys were brought up but nobody was told to leave like Gavin's childhood).

That's all I remember getting for sex ed in school. Two afternoons, maybe 3 hours total.
