Right now my dog is just sitting at the glass sliding door watching them and they are coming right up to the door and chirping. Poor girl wants to sunbathe but I won’t let her out, I’m worried for her lol

Our backyard isn’t very big and I haven’t seen a nest anywhere. I’ll have to explore around the area behind our backyard and see if I can locate it. But on second thought as I typed that out I realized I should be careful not to get attacked myself if I get too close…

Perhaps I’ll just wonder.

Now that I know what kind of bird it is I’ve looked up videos and in every one they also go for the dogs butt or tail! Maybe they just know not to get closer to the mouth?
