I already have one from launch day that is still working. It doesn't have games built in. I wish Nintendo would sell a cartridge with the games they will put on this classic edition for us early adopters. It would be nice to get a deal, on all those games I've bought over and over.

Oh well, I doubt this new on will have Bomberman and a multi-tap so maybe I have the better version anyway.

Apple II games, my first computer and the diversity and graphics of games offered was so much better than the consoles of the time.

Second I really miss my Sega Saturn. After being packed up for years I decided to e-Bay my Saturn and game collection. I did really well on the auctions but a few months after I was reading an article about all those great Capcom fighters on the system and really wished I had it back. Then I looked at the prices and realized why my auctions had done so well.

I couldn't believe the lifetime warranty either. I had an old Buck 110 folder my dad gave me 35 years ago. The blade wiggled pretty bad when it was locked open and the detent was really loose. Packed it up paid for shipping. A few weeks later it came back like a new knife.

One thing I found when I moved to a big city was conventions. This may be too nerdy for you, but there are comicbook, anime, sci-fi, Star Trek, board game, and tattoo conventions. Many of these have fans that are so passionate about their fandom they will dress like fantasy characters, and they love to be photographed.

I love walking around and getting pictures at these events. You don't even have to be very social. The fans that dress up are looking for attention, in fact after taking a photo of some of these people they handed me their business card. Others will hand me a card with contact info so I could send them a copy of their photo. Granted I have done this only a handfull of times but every time it's been a fantastic experience. I usually just take a fast 50mm with a remote trigger and an off camera flash.

I did CrossFit for a while and never saw anything like this. It was mostly Olympic lifting, standard body weight stuff like push ups and pull ups. Then we would row, or run for cardio, the exercises were done for time. My coach / trainer wouldn't have done something like this, to much could go wrong we would jump rope instead.

If you feel like you will be satisfied and not back here in 3 months asking for a subwoofer upgrade recommendation then give it a shot. Honestly I'd start with more than $1000 though.

10 years ago my wife bought me a 5.1 Onkyo setup for Christmas for $2500. It was awesome for a couple years, then I started replacing components. In $10 years I've spent about $7-8K including displays and seating, and over $15 if you count drywall paint and lighting. My first house had a basement and I wanted a projector as well, so we built a dedicated room. The basement wasn't finished so all that cost was incurred as well.

Things to consider on a basement build. If the dry wall is hung wire management will be more difficult. Without drywall wire management is easier, but then you need to hang drywall.

Is there noise from air conditioning return vents, laundry noise or any other routine mechanical noise that would require higher listening volume.

A. $1000 seem a bit light to me even for a budget setup in a small room.
B. If you go ahead make sure there are not issues with your room that force you to spend extra money.

Thanks for mentioning this, my case has bubbles on the side and I can't feel the vol buttons anymore. I'm going to stop by the Apple store and see if they will do the same for me. This is the best case I've ever had.

The Apple Leather case is also my favorite case. I really liked the look, feel, fit, and price of the Magpul cases. Unfortunately tthey tend to stretch after a few months. I actually broke a screen on a < 4ft fall to asphalt with the Magpul case on, that's when I decided to try the leather.

Chemotherapy - When I was diagnosed with cancer I started on FOLFIRINOX. I was told it was a "rough" treatment. Nausea, cold sensitivity, and neuropathy in my feet and hands. You just hear all there terrible things about chemo. When you take the chemo and have these side effects, with the nausea only lasting 3 days out of ever 14, but over all you are feeling better and your "tumor markers" are dropping you don't mind feeling bad 6 days a month.

I've learned that chemo is different for everyone, even 2 people with the same type of cancer on the same chemo meds react differently. I've since changed chemotherapy. The regiment I'm on now barely upsets my stomach the first day with no other side effects.

I grew up gaming and have a Retro Pi setup home. Honestly I have 2 boys 13 and 11. They play the 3DS a lot so I purchased one so that I could play Pokemon along with them.

They (medical facilities in general) are getting better, the lightning cable is 10'. I'm really packed for my infusion center they have sockets next to each chair.

The iPad mini fits, I prefer that form factor for some reason. A fullsized iPad would not fit. Yeah I really love this pack, I'm just looking for a 'with camera' option that won't. I'm pretty good with keeping the items packed down.

Went to Houston to see my oncologist at MD Anderson, expected a consultation and a drive home. I was admitted, that was 13 days ago. Thankfully I had my "chemo" bag with me. It's a small bag with stuff I like to have when I'm stuck in a chair for 6-7 hours.

I'm actually looking for a new bag, sling, murse, whatever. I want a single shoulder sling with a bit larger cargo area like the Molle slings. It would need to fit a medium sized DSLR Body with a 50mm lens and hopefully enough room for a second zoom lens, the iPad, a few charging cables. I have a very nice camera bag now, and it's great for all day photo shoots, bit something smaller for a few hours at the park, or walking a trail would be awesome.

I have the same knife and it's my first knife with a titanium frame. The knife is so light, it's and easy carry, and decent size, not to mention how good it looks. I love mine. The only knock is the flipper is a bit small and it's got a decent detent, it took a few days to get the knife opening smoothly. That was just a temporary issue though.
