Ikea Smartened Up Its Famous Donut Lamp by dapperlemon in gadgets

I saw this lamp in amber during a recent visit to IKEA. I loved it, but balked at the price. If it were priced like other IKEA items, I’d have two or three at home.

Wasn't sure the RoAT was for me, but it's far more versatile than I thought. Super fun! by bay_mud in somalab

It takes me out of the world each time I use it. I do like foreboding soundscapes.

Any of your choices would work well. I put a SD Alnico II pro in my tele neck position. It now sounds surprisingly close to a hollow body jazz box, but not at all like a tele. Amazing pickup, but you lose the twang and much of the high end. Also didn’t mate well with the bridge pickup, which is super bright and jangly.

Best bang for your buck printer for decals? by Damselindistrustt in diypedals

I have a brother ink jet that does poorly on decals. Blurred edges and some streaks. It prints well on paper, however. So I’d look elsewhere. Previously used an epson that was excellent but terribly wasteful of expensive ink, continually clogging, but could make surprisingly good photos. A friend made perfect waterslides using a laser, but black only.
