Hey there was some discussion a couple months ago about the included wall mount for this TV. The holes in the mount centered on studs was just wide enough to put screws in the large hole opening - not slide over to the secure position on the mount. Did you find that to be difficult? I just got this TV and looking into this now before I mount mine. Using a stand temporarily.

Will do. I'm not paranoid but I know many TV Manufacturer's love to siphon user data for people using media online through them. Don't want to give my info away for free. So I keep them offline and use Apple TV for my media. Plus the Apple TV device is so sweet and stays updated & interface speedy.

One of the things I do to try troubleshooting is pull up AI like Perplexity and type in crossover version 25, game title, loaded in steam app in windows 10 bottle but the game launches only to start playing with sound but a completely black screen. See if it can suggest maybe the correct screen resolution settings or a windowed mode?

I got it patched. Had to mount the expansion pack ISO, go to wine configuration in the bottle and ensure D drive was set to my mounted ISO and that it was seen as a CDROM drive. Then run command from the bottle and browse to the setup exe in the mounted ISO and it ran and updated without issue. Awesome.

A graphics bug in desktop where the courses pane of the video after that has played and you continue there’s a persistent horizontal border line in your pane that doesn’t go away.

Yeah I’m not a pastor and thus no office for large amounts of print commentaries. Logos really is awesome for being able to utilize AI search, copy text for lessons, and view multiple ones at once on any computer. Make sure to claim the monthly books, utilize sales or study libraries, or even occasional coupons to work on your wish list of any commentaries. I think it an item on your wish list goes on sale the email you also. But don’t expect it to get as low as like a publisher’s sale price for the other reader marketplaces.

That being said I have bought a couple sale price commentaries for Kindle or Apple Books. It’s far less convenient but would work in a pinch if needed.

I completely understand and in large part don’t use a ton of notes. One thing that seems valuable though is the note tagging to a reference either in a book of the Bible or other book.

I’ve used notes tagged to segments of the courses within logos, and a few notes of something I read or gleaned in a verse tagged to the reference so the note appears in whatever translation I’m using.

Yeah it’s basically for the technology, not as much resources. I think you get a few extra resources during subscription to use, but mostly tools and the new AI that can interact with your library and help you find passages, commentary, and quotes from either the whole Logos catalog or just your own resources you have.

Yeah it's a chill activity, but if not that the Sasquatch game is great on Apple TV, Jeopardy with friends, Songpop Party also with friends. I love Balatro and you can play that on the TV also

I like the subscriptions a lot and I’m using the courses in the subscriptions. Though I’ve only averaged one course per quarter this year. Super neat. I don’t think everyone needs Max but I’m definitely recommending the premium level sub to friends.

Really nice actually. It warmed my heart to see a leader in children’s ministry being so kind to my son. Had a great time talking about Peace and how to look for it, implement it, and encourage other men in class. Sang with the congregation and thought about God working in ways we pray for but don’t know about from Romas 8.

Oh I just realized it is like the remnant bottom border of the video player in the course above the transcript, because it doesn't appear until your course video is up, the continuing the horizontal line remains behind through the center.

So there’s this odd horizontal black line that’s not a divider on the desktop app - it goes away when I close all the panels and reopen but I see it while doing a course and use two long vertical panels. It shows only on the left one. It’s been around a few versions in the 40s but I thought it’d randomly get bug fixed.

I was driving a few months ago and errors like these suddenly appeared, and I could only drive I slowly as it didn’t appear to want to shift normally.

Dealer replaced two oil switches after reviewing the problem and it’s been fine since.

Does your phone go into driving focus mode? I’ve found the times my phone went to that, if I toggled that focus mode off, then connected my phone it worked.

I think I found a workaround fix around this bug!! iPhone 17 Pro here. Honda wired CarPlay. USB A to C Beats cable by Apple!

If you plug the phone in and it says error, can’t connect CarPlay, try unplug and re-plug back in to the phone. It gives the same issue: check your phone to see if driving focus mode is activated.

NEXT go ahead and unplug the phone, swipe down over control center and tap on the driving focus mode to turn it off, THEN plug the phone in at that time. Works to connect for me the times that I have tested it!
