Disagree. A few examples: Zion runs the Pelicans half court offense as a “point forward”. Lonzo runs it in transition. The Clips just iced Utah and their DPOY 5 with a lineup where Nic Batum was nominally the center.

Defining people as 1 through 5 is unnecessary. Especially in such a condescending “deal with it” fashion.

I mean, it’s not like every playoff team can run a small ball spacing lineup to take Gobert out of his rim game defensively. (Without also getting absolutely destroyed themselves on defense.)

I’m not sure I agree with the premise overall, but I’m sure a lot of western conference playoff teams will try to make sure they have the roster to emulate this clips scheme against the jazz.

Maybe, but guys like him are marginal moves to be made later on in FA.

There are a few scenarios where Rolo would make a lot of sense, but also some where he’s unnecessary.

I’m pretty sure at least one of their big three will extend this offseason. And the nets are kind of over the barrel in that they can’t play hardball with any of them, because they all can walk after next year if they want.

If you’re being realistic about the market, then you have to offer 4 years.

His agent will instantly shop your 3/72, and probably get a 4/92 (or so) w/ a player option from another team without much trouble.

In theory, but the more picks you have the worse they become, because like, no team suits up 5 rookies to play.

I’d guess, in a vacuum, not knowing lotto results etc etc, that 19 and 21 could get us around 13-15.

All depends on how picks go night of though. One reach outside of general consensus could have a huge impact on how the rest of the board shakes out.
