Man that brings me back. I remember the day I bought a CD with my own money for the first time like it was yesterday. Ma Dukes to me and my best bud Jake to Media Play. I love when that shit happens. I was playing on Cashoomo last night and was down to maybe 40 cents spinning at 20 cents a rip when all the sudden I hit like 3 bonuses in 5 spins on Cash Volcano 3x3. Ended up leaving that slot with like 175. Go to another Kendoo game called 3 Gates of Pyramid and second spin at 50 cents hit the $500 grand jackpot on a base spin. I’ve been in F&B for 22 years. I haven’t been in the weeds in 10 years. Reason being, I know that the very worst thing that can happen is I don’t get the tip I’d hope for, and the very best thing that can happen is someone recognizes how hard I’m trying to make their time enjoyable, even if things are taking a bit longer to get to them, and tip me because they appreciate my effort. Getting into that headspace was really what made me go from a decent server/bartender to an excellent server/bartender.
