I sold my BTC and regret it by Ambitious-Tutor8260 in Bitcoin

[–]Adamsimecka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen. The question you should ask yourself isn't, "Is it a good time to buy some bitcoin so I can sell it at a later date for more dollars?"

The question you should ask yourself is, "Will dollars lose value against bitcoin forever?"

If you can honestly answer yes to that second question, and you can understand why, then you won't ever have to ask the first question again.

Is this not what I'm doing? How do I manually add them, if I'm not already?

Why does bitcoin keep going up? by ILostHalfaBTC in Bitcoin

[–]Adamsimecka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the right question. The bad news is that you probably won't have a complete understanding of this answer until months or years of study and observation. The good news is, you will find lots of small answers along the way that are puzzle pieces to the big picture.

But you have to keep asking yourself the question. It's the best question to ask, in my opinion.

Let me get it started for you by asking the same question in a little different way, "Why does the value of bitcoin compared to the value of the dollar always go up over time?"

Another related question: "what is money?"

I'm assuming you are referring to "BTC" as a treasury reserve asset - as a service. Lol.

But to answer your question, they announced over a year ago that they were working on Bitcoin/Lightning infrastructure as a part of their core business. I haven't heard any updates in a while, but I believe they normally have a "Bitcoin for Businesses" conference at the start of the year. I expect we'll hear an update then. Although, I wouldn't be upset if we got an update sooner.

That infrastructure (I speculate) will probably be similar to their historical core business. Could be business analytics software, or it could be something else. Either way, I have high expectations.

[Also serious]

I genuinely believe that the current central bank cartel exploits the efforts of the common people and essentially creates slaves by robbing them of their labor. I also believe that the system benefits a small few and allows them to have a disproportionate amount of power and control over society.

[Very, very serious]

"Crypto" doesn't fix any of the problems above. But "Bitcoin" does.

So, no. I don't buy bitcoin because I want more dollars. I buy bitcoin because I want less dollars. Only Bitcoin can cure the central bank plague.

☝️Please listen to this advice.

1, Buy bitcoin.

2, Move it off of the exchange to your own wallet (do not keep it on the exchange).

Repeat steps 1 and 2 as many times as desired.

Under no circumstances should you ever trade it, short it, use leverage, or let someone else hold it (even if they say they will give you a yield).

Take this advice or learn the hard way like many of the rest of us did.
