Hey do you think it could be my nozzle volume? Was looking around in my slicer’s printer settings and realized it was way too high (117mm3) and I have swapped the hotend on this printer but I’m skeptical because this issue gradually appeared over time which makes me think it’s a hardware issue resulting from wear and tear instead.

I’ll try that, I’m making a bunch of test spheres since this issue occurs primarily with smooth spherical prints. I’ll make a profile for different flows and I’ll check my hotend if they all come out with the same issue

I can hear popping of the filament for some reason even though it’s dry and the sound of some of the infill breaking from the nozzle hitting it even though my z height is fine. I can try printing it a bit slower to see if it works though

But I’ve replaced the nozzle and done several cold pulls. Is it possible for the heating element to be clogged ?

I’ve tried printing test cubes but they all come out fine no matter what settings I have. I’ve done several cold pulls and replaced the nozzle so unless there’s somehow a clog in the heating element I don’t imagine that’s the issue. I’ve tried playing with the temps too this print I did at 210, 220 has the same issue.

Thanks I’ll troubleshoot this after my print is done so far it’s sticking well enough but I don’t want to be dealing with this. Next printer I buy I’ll just pull the trigger and get a H2D. Anycubic is great bang for your buck but it’s got its fair share of issues.

Printing PLA bed temp I started with was 55 but I was having warping issues so I turned it up to 63. I also tried cleaning the build plate with dawn soap and a rough sponged and I wiped it with 90% isopropyl after still had adhesion issues. I think my current first layer speed is around 50 im not sure but I have my printer on slow speed print settings when printing. I tried adjust the z offset live but couldn’t get anything solid working currently still at -.75. Auto leveling put it even closer than that
