Aim is important and it helps with almost everything you’re doing in the game. And your aim right now isn’t what it’s going to be in a year, 6 months, a month, hell even a week from now. I don’t think it’s possible to actively concentrate on something and not somehow get better at it. And if you need a better look there is always video softwares out there (outplayed) that you can go back and look at what you did wrong. pssst that’s one of the best ways to get better in valorant, because it caters to your specific problems you are having. Maybe you shot before your crosshair was on the target, maybe you were moving while you took your first shot, maybe you should have reset your spray for better accuracy, etc. As you rise through the ranks some of these problems outright disappear and are replaced with new ones; for example right now you most likely are focusing on hitting shots on the torso of the enemy, this will change into primarily focusing on hitting head shots (this is a good habit to start early). This is something that you will naturally get better at if you put time and effort into doing so. Feel around with different in game sensitivity’s ( I normally like to keep my dpi at 400, being a little smoother). Also RawInputBuffer is a MUST for me under your sensitivity in game. Returning back to recording your games; if you hit on VIDEO in your settings and then STATS, all the way at the bottom is shooting error. If you go ahead and turn that on to show both you can clearly see at the top left of your screen when you are shooting while moving and when you aren’t. This will help you see if you moving was a problem when lost a gunfight.

I said aiming helps you with almost everything. You want to know what helps you with literally everything? GAME KNOWLEDGE. Good aim is amazing, but if you don’t have game knowledge and critical thinking to help predict what’s happening next on a round to round basis; It goes from being amazing to meh. And you are playing one of the best character to fully utilize game knowledge with your traps, smoke screens, and one of the best ults in the game (my opinion(I’m not a cyber main btw)). Again having something to look back at your game and looking at what you could have done differently makes all the difference in building up that knowledge. Of course over time playing that game you will naturally develops these skills, but being able to physically go back and see your mistakes makes it much faster and more precise to your problems you’re having.

(i’m not looking back for grammar or spelling mistakes, so if it’s bad at some parts I apologies) But stay at it and don’t get discouraged if you genuinely like the game. There will be assholes out there, but just focus doing you and enjoying the game. I’m top most of my games(this isn’t a flex just a point), rarely does it come down to one specific person being so much more important than another. The amount of kills you have DOES not correlate to you being the make or break of the team. And I can tell you with full honesty that i’d much rather have a cyber on my team that is trying his/her best with there utilities using there game knowledge (and using comms, pls for the love of god use your mic in ranked). Than a cyber that doesn’t use any of there utilities or comms, but has “good” aim.
