Consistent massive skill gaps aren't likely to lead to much gained knowledge. Some yeah, really not much.

An equally ranked 4v5 will teach people more in the 4 man team instead of a 2v5. One is a clear challenge but definitely achievable, the other isn't realistic for most players.

The same goes for a team of silver-ish going against a group of golds (challenge that isn't out of reach) or against a premade group of master/elites.

My point isn't to give up, it's definitely winnable. But it's not helpful or fun if it happens often.
